Similar in design to the popular Worm Factory 4-Tray Composter (CAD002) The Worm Factory 360 Recycled Plastic Worm Composter - Black features a thicker sturdier design with an improved base and lid. This composter can hold up to 8 trays instead of 7 and it includes a handy compost accessory kit featuring a coir brick hand rake scraper and thermometer which make maintaining your system cleaner and easier. It even comes with an instruction video that's great for beginners. The Worm Factory 360 composter also features new Thermo Siphon Airflow design which allows air to enter on all four sides of the base exposing the bottom tray to an endless supply of fresh air without allowing light inside. The lids is also vented on all four sides which allows the heat and gases generated during composting to continually escape through the top. Ideal composting conditions occur at temperatures between 45 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit. The All Food Recycling Compost Kit quickly and odorlessly converts your organic waste into a high-grade soil conditioner through the use of effective microbes or Bokashi - a Japanese word meaning "fermented organic matter." How to Use:

1. Place an initial layer of Bokashi at the bottom of the bucket.
2. Collect your daily food waste and chop it into small pieces.
4. Place waste in the bucket and coat it with a layer of Bokashi. For less than a 3" layer of food waste, sprinkle two fistfuls of Bokashi to cover the entire surface. Mix this layer thoroughly and compact the waste by pushing it down. Sprinkle a coat of Bokashi to cover the surface and place the plastic barrier directly on the compost mixture, completely covering it. Stir each new layer only and try not to mix it with previous layers of food waste.
6. Periodically, drain the liquid that has accumulated at the bottom bucket.
8. Once the bucket is filled to capacity, continue to drain any liquid and let the contents ferment for 7-10 days at room temperature.
10. Fermented compost will not completely degrade but will retain much if it original physical properties and will have a pickled appearance. Complete breakdown of material will occur once it is transferred into the soil.
